$400 for a suite in Times Square. And with taxes, you're looking at around $345 per night before tax. Not unless you want to go in February, which is New York's only true off-season.
Seriously, stay in Jersey City and take the water taxi or the PATH train to Midtown. It will be half the price and the commute is much shorter. There is a Doubletree there that only has junior suites. Looking for a hotel suite to fit 6 people near Times Square?
The Doubletree Suites Times Square is right in the middle of Times Square (as the name suggests). It is a very nice hotel and all of their rooms have a separate bedroom (2 Dbls.) and living room (Pull out Dbl). I stayed there a few years back for $210 a night though I am sure its more expensive now.
Manhattan Broadway Hotel
They have EXACTLY what you're looking for. I actually was looking for the EXACT suit as you, haha. So I called around and found them. I have stayed there before, once with just my girlfriend and I and we only paid $99 for the room, so it's a pretty decently priced hotel.

Try the Radio City Apartments. We are going in July for 4nts %26amp; out total is $1133.08. That's under $300 a night for 4 people. The room has two beds and a sofa sleeper living area with a full kitchenette.
Look up the website of Affinia Suites - all their rooms are suites, some are quite large, and not too expensive (at least by NYC standards)
